QUALITYstarsNY aims to support early childhood programs serving New York's most under-resources communities. Programs serving special populations of children and families with the highest need are selected first when QUALITYstarsNY enrolls new participants.
Please be sure to watch the video on this section of the application and complete the section thoroughly following the instructions provided below and in the application video.
1. To the right of the “What Population Do you Serve” section, click “Review”
2. Watch the video check the box for “I understand...”
3. Select your program's current operation type.
4. Select whether your program has the capacity to serve infants and toddlers and the number of infants and toddlers your program has the capacity to serve.
6. Enter your enrollment information for each age range, including School age. If the answer is "0" you must enter the "0" into the appropriate field to Save and complete the section.
*We understand that enrollment information changes frequently so please provide your enrollment information as of the day you're completing the application. This applies to all fields within this section of the application. 
7. Enter the number of children you serve that are receiving subsidies in each of the age ranges listed. 
8. For the remaining section, indicate if you serve children that fall into any of the special population categories and their age group. If you currently serve children of different age groups that fall into the same special population, select all age groups that apply.
9. Once you have completed the section, click the Save & Confirm button.
10. A pop-up will appear to inform you that your section was successfully confirmed. Click “OK”
