The QUALITYstarsNY rating process begins with a program reflecting on their own practices using QUALITYstarsNY Standards – referred to as the Standards Inventory process. Over a three-month period, programs partner with their QI Specialist to review the QUALITYstarsNY Standards, determine which of the Standards their program meets, and gather the required supporting documentation to demonstrate compliance with those Standards.
Once a program gathers their evidence, they upload it to the QUALITYstarsNY data system and submits their Standards Inventory, which is used to determine their Provisional Rating.
